The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), in partnership with the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC), NHS England and UK AHP professional bodies, has launched a new webinar series to support allied health professionals (AHPs) working at or towards advanced levels of practice.
The sessions are designed to help practitioners better understand their professional scope, delegate safely, and meet regulatory standards confidently. Separate webinars are available for HCPC and GOsC registrants and for managers or strategic leaders supporting advanced practice roles.
Registrant-focused topics include optimising scope of practice and key considerations for supervision and delegation. Manager sessions explore strategies for effective oversight and team development. Each topic will be delivered twice to increase accessibility, and participants are encouraged to attend both sessions relevant to their role.
Feedback and suggestions are welcome via policy@hcpc-uk.org, and full details—including registration links—are available on the HCPC website. This initiative reflects a collaborative effort to enhance professional support and regulatory confidence across AHP sectors.
