Social Work England are consulting on new education and training approval standards for courses leading to the specialist award of best interests assessor (BIA).

The standards we are consulting on set out our expectations for what courses need to do to be sure those who qualify from them can practise safely and effectively as a BIA.

We want you to have your say on all aspects of the way we operate and how we regulate the social work profession.
